Since Mercedes-Benz produced their first car for public sale in 1901, a legacy has followed them for setting the standard in luxury and going above and beyond the competition. The new 560SL was Mercedes-Benz's most powerful SL produced at the time and helped them push past the competition.

Streaming from that same legacy is this 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. It was sold new in May of 1989 to its first owner located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. It would remain with the original family for 32 years before being acquired by the Passport Collection in the earlier part of 2022. Well-kept and cared for during its 32 years with the original family, the originality can be seen throughout the entirety of the car, as the paint and interior show very well. Sold with a reported 34,529 miles on the odometer (title reads exempt due to age), the Passport Collection has only added 41 miles since their stewardship.
