1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEC CARFAX Report.pdf

A legacy of excellence, the W126 generation debuted in 1979 and quickly became one of the most successful and respected S-Class models in Mercedes-Benz history. By 1981, the coupe variants - dubbed the SEC (Sonderklasse Einspritzmotor Coupe) - were introduced, offering the same world-class luxury as the S-Class sedans but with a sleeker, pillarless design.

In 1985, Mercedes-Benz refreshed the W126 lineup, introducing the 560SEC as the ultimate expression of the SEC family. This model featured a larger 5.5L M117 V-8 engine, enhanced safety features, and improved refinement. This 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC on offer represents the final and most refined evolution of the W126 S-Class coupe, a model that set new standards for luxury, engineering, and performance throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. As the flagship grand tourer of its era, the 560SEC combines timeless design, robust V-8 power, and cutting-edge technology of the day.
