With an excellent 265-cubic-inch V-8 engine, linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a NAPCO dual range transfer case, this truck will literally take you anywhere you wish to go. It is rare to find a NAPCO Powr-Pak 4x4 at all, nonetheless one that looks great, runs well, and hasn't been abused. It was refinished in the proper Yukon Yellow and wears all the correct V-8, 3600, and NAPCO badging, with original trim and bumpers. Everyone notices the curved windshield, wood lined bed floor, and the recent work on the seals, tailgate, and taillights shows well. White-finished 16-inch steel wheels are mounted with 235/85 Mudstar Radial M/T tires, and the truck is equipped with manual locking front hubs. Stopping power is provided by the factory four-wheel drum brakes.

The correct bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl and accompanied by a light gray painted dashboard and matching door panels. A NAPCO Powr-Pak operating plaque is affixed to the glovebox door and outlines the operation of the transfer case controls that exit from the floor along with the shifter. The seller states that the door strike plates, dashboard knobs, and door handles along with the passenger-side door armrest were replaced recently; overall, it is in good solid shape for a nearly 70-year-old work truck. The 265-cubic-inch V-8 engine features a single downdraft carburetor and starts easily and runs out strongly. It was fully serviced in preparation for the Enthusiast Auction. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and the legendary NAPCO dual-range transfer case that even features a power take-off port. This is a work truck that will never get stuck.

This example ticks all the boxes; it looks great, is quite original, it's a monster 4x4, and is ready to enjoy; you don't have to worry about anywhere you wish to drive, and it is certainly one of just a few you will ever see. A Chevrolet operator's manual along with a NAPCO service parts catalog are included in the sale. If a legendary truck in solid condition that is ready to enjoy is of interest, this 3600 deserves your close attention.
