1965 AC Cobra Junior

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
  • A meticulous AC Cobra Junior
  • Equipped with a Predator single-cylinder racing engine
  • Large enough for a full-size adult to drive

The CSX series Shelby Cobra was the final and most powerful evolution of Carroll Shelby's legendary American sports car. Built between 1965 and 1967, these Cobras were designated CSX and were equipped with Ford's fearsome 427-cubic-inch V-8 engine. These cars were built for both street and competition use, with CSX models like the 427 S/C (Semi-Competition) becoming some of the most desirable and valuable Cobras ever made. The combination of brute American horsepower and lightweight British engineering cemented the CSX series Cobra as one of the most menacing sports cars of the 1960s and an enduring legend in the world of high-performance automobiles.

A hand-built Junior of the famous 1965 CSX AC Cobras that used to roam the streets, this example is finished in classic Guardsman Blue with white racing stripes and a black roll bar. Powered by a Predator single-cylinder racing engine, single-speed transmission, and operable handbrake, it can fit a full-size adult.

Features on this Cobra include a single black bucket seat, Halibrand replica wheels, AC pedals, a functional steering wheel, and a removable hood and trunk. Most interestingly it retains an A.C. Cars LTD VIN plate and is pinned as chassis number CSXMINIAC and engine number 371412218, further mirroring the real examples.

The attention to detail throughout this example is highly evident and truly impressive. A miniature replica of one of the most famous sports cars ever built, this AC Cobra Junior will finally check that last box on the list of cool things you never knew you needed to own.
