1982 Porsche 928 Weissach Edition

The 928 was Porsche's first front-engine V-8-powered sports car, originally conceived as a potential replacement for the 911. Despite not succeeding in that mission, it became a beloved model in its own right, blending high-speed performance with luxury and innovative engineering.
The Weissach Edition, named after Porsche's renowned research and development center in Weissach, Germany, was introduced in 1982 as a limited-production special model to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the research and development facility. Produced in limited numbers, the Weissach package cost an extra $5,940. This 928 Weissach was finished exclusively in Light Bronze Metallic paint and included the front and rear spoilers of the 928 S model. It rides on special gold-anodized 16-inch flat-disc alloy wheels and comes with fog lights, headlamp washers, a rear window wiper, an automatic antenna, and a dual-tipped exhaust outlet.
The cabin features Brown Special Leather upholstery with tan carpeting and dark brown 928-branded floor mats. Accessories include a four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats, power windows, power mirrors, automatic climate control, and VDO quartz clock.
Documented by a clean CARFAX® report, this Weissach edition Porsche has been maintained to a high standard and features 52,172 miles on the odometer, which are believed to be actual but the title reads exempt.
