Born amidst a wave of innovation and a quest for efficiency, the Fiero sought to redefine the American sports car market. Introduced in 1984, the Fiero was first conceived as a fuel-efficient automobile, leveraging mid-engine architecture for optimal balance and handling. This was also the first time a mass-production American mid-engine automobile was produced and sold. Having much favor in the public's eyes initially, the Fiero would cease production in 1988. Though it had a short production span, the Fiero was still able to help challenge the perception of American sports cars in the 1980s.
Sold new in Lima, Ohio, this example has enjoyed the care of having just two owners from new and has always been owned in the state of Ohio. Documented by the original window sticker, this Fiero is thoroughly equipped with an array of factory options which include power windows, power locks, a tilt steering wheel, the wheel locking package, a luggage carrier on the rear deck lid, and various other options.
