1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster

This time capsule 560SL shows just over 15,000 original miles from new. The most recent caretaker purchased the car from the original owner in 1991 with a mere 5,258 miles. Over the years, he cherished the car, keeping it as original as possible and regularly treating it to oil changes and annual state inspections. On file are extensive documents going back to new, including the 1991 bill of sale when the most recent owner purchased the car. The original warranty card is present and filled out, as is the original selling dealer's business card. Also included are the factory build sheet and both tops.
In preparation for the sale, a $2,767.75 service was completed which included a change of fluids, replacing of the steering dampener, new distributor rotor, air filter, and more. Today, the car presents in nearly new condition with factory original finishes, stickers, and stampings throughout. A truly collector-grade example.
