Hand-Built Miller Lockhart Spe cial Racer
Well-known modeler John Snowberger created this awesome work of art. It is a faithful scaled-down replica of the 1926 Miller race car that Frank Lockhart drove to victory at that year's Indy 500 race, becoming one of few men to win in their rookie season. The hand-formed all aluminum body is painted white and features original style graphics, custom created grille, engraved gauge faces in the dash panel, operating steering and springed suspension. The driver's seat is padded brown leather and the four-spoke steering wheel operated the steering as the original car. Not a toy, this is a large scale replica that the artist had originally planned for a limited production run; however, this is the only example ever produced and carried serial #001.
